Lampl´s Fahrradmuseum, Werndorf - Austria

You can explore the development and history of the bicycle at the Lampl Bicycle Museum. Located on the Mur Cycle Path south of Graz, the museum presents the history of the bicycle from early velocipedes to the modern bicycle and features renowned bicycle manufacturers such as Johann Puch. The museum is housed in the farm building of a mill, first mentioned in 1770 and privately owned by Egon Lampl. Everything "related to the bicycle" is on display, from a high bicycle from 1886 to a uniquely comprehensive collection of Puch models from 1900 until the end of production in Graz in 1987. Special sections are dedicated to uniformed police officers on bicycles and local cycling athletes such as Franz Deutsch and Wolfgang Fasching. The museum also houses an archive and extensive photographic material.
