Antik bike Europe Tour 2025
Day 1 - From Prague through Austria to Italy
It looks easy. Get in the car and go. Preparations and planning, arranging and organizing private collections, and the varied museum opening hours have kept us busy. We can go. Breakfast was stylish - in Český Krumlov and right in one of the oldest buildings - the Krumlov Mill, which also houses the motorcycle museum.
Museum of historical motorcycles, Český Krumlov, Czech Republic
Motorcycles of various Czech and foreign brands can be seen in the museum in the premises of the ancient Krumlov mill. Among other things, you can admire other objects related to the history of motoring and several bicycles.
An integral part of the Museum of Vintage Motorcycles is also a sales gallery displaying antique furniture, clocks and antique decorations. Tower clocks are also on display in museum.
The Museum is located in the ancient building of the Krumlov Mill, which is situated on the banks of the Vltava River under the Český Krumlov Castle and is one of the oldest buildings in Český Krumlov. It served as a town mill for many centuries.

319/A - Motorcycle museum Český Krumlov
Krumlov mill
A beautiful town, one of the oldest and most beautiful houses in Český Krumlov, right in the heart of the old town - museum, antique shop, sales gallery, restaurants and accommodation. All in an absolutely wonderful atmosphere.
STOP 1: Das Salvator – Porsche museum, St.Salvator, Austria
We are still looking for Porsche bikes, whether they were just used for advertising or were directly designed or manufactured by Porsche technicians.
The Gerhard Porsche Museum, a unique collection that you might not expect to find behind the facade of the Das Salvator - Iris Porsche Landhotel. Right next to the hotel, car enthusiasts, car historians and even those who are not particularly interested in motorsport will be amazed. In a lovingly restored barn, which is directly connected to the hotel, there is a car museum with exhibits from the very beginnings of automotive history to the present day of motorsport.
Address: Markplatz 6, 9361 St.Salvador, Austria

85/A - Das Salvator – Porsche museum part 1
Many more automotive beauties have been on display in the new wing of the building since 2016. You can look forward to up to 20 historical agricultural machines that offer a glimpse into the agricultural practices of yesteryear. The museum also offers 15 new racing and sports cars, the most famous of which is the unique Porsche 904. The real attractions include the Red Bull Formula 1 car and Jochen Rindt's original Porsche 906 racing car.
85/B - Das Salvator – Porsche museum - Part 2
The Porsche company is known above all for top cars. But we cannot overlook her experiments with the bicycle.
Evening Italy welcomed us with its hospitality and there were plenty of experiences for the first day.
Day 2 - Two large private collections and the smell of gasoline in Brescia in the evening
STOP 2: Expo 2025 "PEDALANDO NELLA STORIA", Cittadella – Italy

Velodrome BRNO 1889 - 2025
Famous and infamous cyclists have been riding here on sand, clay, asphalt and concrete since 1889, they have experienced famous seasons and times when they were not allowed here, when it was a question of who would get the velodrome, when it was demolished and built, when the world championship was held here. Today it is one of the important European velodromes, whose parameters meet the regulations of the international cycling union UCI even for the highest category C1 races. It is the oldest functional velodrome in the world.

The Prague Mile 2025
As members of the oldest cycling club in the Czech Republic, ČKV 1880, we organize and participate in a farewell session on Prague's Letenská plain under the name - Prague MILE. This year marks the thirtieth one anniversary.
Kontakt ČKV 1880 (Czech Velocipedist Club): jankralik@jankralik.cz
You can always see very interesting bikes at the Prague Mile, not only from the era of bone-shaker and high-wheell bikes.
Jenda Horák - Tachlovice u Prahy
This year's 2025 edition was dedicated to the memory of Mikael Pedersen, the designer of unique machines very popular with many members of ČKV 1880. A prominent guest was Bohumil Kasl, who built replicas of Pedersen bikes just for the members of our club.
Biciclette d'Epoca an Italian magazine focused on historic bicycles
An Italian magazine focused on historic bicycles is published under the name Biciclette d'Epoca.
We are very happy that in 2025 the magazine also covered Štěrba BIKE - the full article HERE.
LET'S TRAVEL TOGETHER ON THE ROADS OF HISTORY
"If you've made it this far, it means you love the world of vintage cycling as much as we do. Maybe you're a keen bike collector or just an ordinary enthusiast who found your grandfather's classic bike in the cellar. Maybe you want to ride an Eroica or better understand what it's all about. Maybe you want to delve deeper into the history of the champions, entrepreneurs and personalities who built the world of cycling. Whoever you are, you've come to the right place.
At Biciclette d'Epoca - a magazine published by Sprea, founded in 2013 - we are dedicated to "cycling culture" in all its forms and we try to do so consistently - as much as possible, by delving into the mists of history - but also inclusively, because anyone driven by a sincere passion for this world and a genuine desire to share their experiences and knowledge should feel represented on our pages. Biciclette d’Epoca is therefore a point of contact, a virtual place where people meet. Until recently, it was only available in print, but today it is also online and available in several languages.
We decided to publish our articles online and translate them (even if automatically) in order to reach as many enthusiasts as possible and to spread this culture as best we can. It is a kind of mission that we try to interpret as best we can thanks to the people you will find below who have helped us create each issue of Biciclette d’Epoca. On this site you can read the articles in full (except for the captions of the images), for free, a few months after they are available on newsstands. Of course, we encourage you to buy the magazine on newsstands, or better yet, subscribe to it so you don’t miss a single issue.
On my part, a huge thank you to all the souls who breathe life into the spirit of Biciclette d’Epoca and who allow us to travel back in time, returning page after page, to tread together the paths of history.”

The most interesting exhibit for us was the Michaux velocipede, which is not yet in the database of preserved specimens of specialists in these machines.
We hope that in time we will be able to find out the serial number, which is still hidden under the original paint.
