Zbrojovka Brno „Z“ – MONTA – Sport Light Bicycle 1938
Full name for this factory is: "Československá Zbrojovka Akciová společnost v Brně". It is absolutelly complet bike from period between two World Wars in original condition. This bike coming from original owner´s family and it was not restored, not cleaned and not rebuilted. Especially nice is original paint made in top quality still with high shine after more 75 years.

If the weather was better, it would have been better meeting. Friends, adventure, fun and first of all many and many antique motorcycles, bicycles, parts were nice fun for all. The exceptional weekend.
James Carver and his Hollow Spoke High Wheel
Originally a manufacturer of lace making machines from 1815, Carver turned to bycicles in the 1870s. He took out a patent for hollow spokes on 6 July 1877 and continued to manufacture "Carver", "Hollow Spoke", "Nottingham", "Solid Spoke" and " Tourist Hollow Spoke" high-wheelers for another ten years based at Alfred Street Mills, Nottingham, England. We are showing one of machines with hollow spokes here. "Fortunately" one spoke was broken and we are able show that it is really hollow!
