VELORAMA - The Dutch National Cycle Museum, Nijmegen – Netherlands 
This is the best known, most extensive and most interesting bicycle museum in the world.
All photos were taken from 2003 to 2018. We are very happy that had oportunity to visit museum minimum ones every year. Bicycles were changed on display always. Many new bicycles were there, many in proces of restoring, maybe some have been relocated, because were moved to an occasional exhibition or were sold or changed. If you will visit whenever you like I can to give a promis you to find there a big experiences with bicycles and new knowledge of bicycle hstory.

The history of the bicycle before the invention of the bicycle
A separate part of the exhibition at the Dutch national museum Velorama is dedicated to the period before the invention of the handcar and the velocipede powered by pedals on the wheel axle.

Mountainbike museum, Arnhem - Holland
Mountainbike museum in northern Europe on the outskirts of Arnhem and is probably the largest and most comprehensive collection of mountain bikes in the world. MTB museum and 1000 bikes on display. What more? Or how to describe the emotions and feelings after a visit:
"An absolutely incredibly authentic place. This is not an MTB museum, this is where life is lived. Wooden benches, a pub, nice hosts, beer, the smell of coffee, good music and mountain bikes and parts everywhere. And a dog, visitors and friends. Here it's not a joke, here it's all about the core. You just wait for the doors to open and Tom Ritchey, Joe Breeze or Gary Fischer to come in. An absolutely authentic environment where you don't want to leave. We've seen many collections and hundreds of museum exhibitions, but here it's absolutely authentic and Top.
Final comment: The owner and founder Jeroen van Roekel, a charismatic guy but with a serious visual handicap, is actually almost blind, no one gave him a single penny for this project from the beginning. The city, the state or the EU. Only friends helped. He never bought a bike, he has no money. Everything he got here was given to him. You'll understand why when you come here. This place and these people will get you. So it's definitely agreed, I have a new friend and we're heading here again. Take the old bike, ride through the Dutch Alps, as they call it, barbecue, beer and music. You want to experience that again. The beginnings of MTB... I really enjoyed it here! Louwman Museum, der Haag - Netherlands 
The Louwman Museum is a museum for historic cars, coaches, motorcycles and bicycles in The Hague. The museum's former names are "Nationaal Automobiel Museum" and "Louwman Collection".The collection of over two hundred cars has been assembled since 1934 by two generations of the Louwman family. It is the oldest private collection of automobiles in the world open to the public.

Jan Nicolaas Jellema Collection - Netherlands
This unique microcollection became part of the Dutch National Museum Velorama. A very important machine for the museum's collections is, above all, a handcar, which was manufactured in the Netherlands.

Private museum – Netherlands
This was a small family museum with more than 40 high-wheel bicycles.
Contact: The collection was sold and the museum was closed in 2009.
Moss shop and museum, JC Koog aan de Zaan - Netherlands
Meindert Moos is a third-generation Gazelle dealer to Raadhuisstraat Koog, with the backyard bordering the Zaan. His grandfather set up this bicycle shop in 1913. One part of shop is in original home which was built 1772. A big mono brand collection concernig bikes and history of Gazelle is there.
Actually the term museum is not entirely accurate, because the private collection of Meindert has no regular hours. The collection can only be visited by appointment.
Absolutelly fantastic atmosphere is there - we recommend visit this place!!

Historisch museum Deventer – Netherlands
Seasonable exhibition „Eerste Nederlandsche Rijwielfabrik v/h/ Burgers" during summer 2012 was included in space of Historisch museum Deventer, because all Burgers bicycles were made there since circa 1869.
