Bicycle club from Dresden "Fahrrad- Veteranen- Freunde- Dresden 1990 e.V." organized during summer 2013 exposition on picturesque watercastle Klaffenbach which is situated circa 10 km from Chemnitz. There was exhibition "Bicycle design as art object" and the members of local club support this event by smal bicycle exposition where was bicycle progres showed. All bicycles there were borrowed from membenrs Dresden club.

Town Museum Einbeck - Germany

Nice small museum with clear direction to a very famous race. Musem was set up 2015. Over 10.000 separate items are there.
Phänomen – Phenomenal! (the summer exhibition Phänomen-Werke), Zittau – Germany 




The town museum in Zittau organized nice exhibition where showed full history of Phänomen-Werke in 2013. There were many information and examples early bicycles, motorcycles and cars.

Museum for Industrial Culture – Nuremberg, Germany 




The museum is located in the hall of a former screw factory, which was part of the Julius Tafel iron works, established in 1876 and closed down in 1975. The Museum for Industrial Culture including the Nuremberg Motorcycle Museum and the School Museum. When we visited the museum we were realy surprised how nice bicycle collection is there.

The Diamant company in Chemnitz has existed since 1885, making it the oldest manufacturer in Germany. This anniversary was celebrated at the cycling festival. Exhibition on the history of Diamant bicycles.Above all, the memories associated with Diamant bicycles are important. Therefore, the inhabitants of Chemnitz and others were invited to visit us with their Diamant bicycle, or a historical photo or other memories or stories with Diamant. There was a photo wall on site and the unique stories were documented.
