Wonder - Ultra lightweight, France 1930

Wonder early 1930s racer, top quality pro racing bike from one of the best French makers, very elegant machine. Full Reynolds HM tubing (High Manganese, introduced in 1924) this is very very rare for a French bike of this era, reserved for the best very expensive models. HM tubing was an expensive supplement on the already expensive top racing model of the Wonder range. Beautiful enamel badge, spectacular metallic copper paint (Wonder typical colour), yellow, light grey lining. Very nice parts : Lam brakes, Caminade camichrom stem, super-piste hubs (rear modified for quick release), Wonder cranks and chainwheel with cut out W. High quality double-crown wrap-around fork top and finely detailed "fish-tail" rear dropouts. Non original : Rims, pedals, bars.
