Cicli Piollini founded in 1945 in Codogno, Italy. Specialist in the production of steel racing frames. The Aero Columbus Time Trial was built for the Italian rider Fausto Muzzi, who in 1988 set an Italian national record on it when he rode 768 km in 24 hours. At the time of the record ride, the frame was white and after breaking the record, Mr. Piollini himself repainted the frame in these attractive colors under the name "Record Machine"
