Nameplates: Michaux, BTE S.G.D.G., AVnue Montaigne. 29 (CH PS. ELYSEES), Paris
Remarks:
- Serpentine frame model
- The first appearance of this nameplate is unknown, probably in 1867 but possibly earlier
- Pierre Michaux is working as a sole trader
- During 1867 he received loans from Rene Olivier
- In March 1868 he took a lease on 19 Rue Jean Goujon

Remarks:
- We have no reliable information for Pierre Michaux's output for the period March -Dec 1869
- Trading first as Michaux & Cie and then after a couple of months as Michaux Pere & Cie.

- Pierre Michaux sets up a new company with sleeping partner Paul-Babtiste Bazin
- The machines were virtually identical to those of the former Michaux & Cie.

Remarks:
- Wire wheels and suspension available from the end of the year 1869
- The new business is run by Rene Olivier with output reaching 300 per month
- The war interrupted production for twelve months in July 1870
