Jan Veselý (1923 June 17th – 2003 February 10th) was a famous Czech cyclist. He competed in the individual and team road races. He won the Peace Race individually in 1949 and with the Czechoslovak team in 1950 and 1951; he finished in second place individually in 1952 and 1955. He was 26times Campion of Czechoslovakia. His bike which he used for Peace Race in 1949 made very reputable maker Antonin Periè from Prague.
