Oscar Egg racing bike, late 1940s

Very rare Oscar Egg racing bike, late 1940s. Oscar Egg was an exceptional racer, he was Champion of Switzerland and who the World Hour record, later on in life he built beautiful racing bikes and developed the Super Champion (Osgear) derailleur.

This is a post war bike, missing rear deraileur (Simplex) and saddle. Paint all original, typical metallic grey/green with beautiful decals, quality parts (Lam brakes, Nervar Sport cranks, Lyotard pedals, Philippe stem, nice alloy bars, Lefol levers, Simplex lever front derailleur). Ornate Oscar Egg lugs. Metal cap on fork top is interesting period option.
